A bold and luxurious Bordeaux-style blend, Yarden Katzrin Red is crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and occasionally other varietals like Petit Verdot and Malbec. This full-bodied wine offers deep aromas of ripe black fruits—such as blackberry and cassis—intertwined with notes of dark chocolate, tobacco leaf, fresh herbs, and hints of orange rind. Aging in new French oak barrels imparts layers of spice and vanilla, contributing to its rich complexity and long, elegant finish. While approachable upon release, this wine benefits from cellaring and can evolve beautifully over 15 to 20 years. It pairs exceptionally well with hearty dishes like grilled leg of lamb, chateaubriand, or braised short ribs.
