Founded by Josh Rynderman and his wife, Chana, Essa was built on the belief that kosher wine should meet the same high standards as the best wines in the world. What started with a small two-ton vintage in 2018 has grown into a respected South African winery, producing a range of wines that showcase the region’s unique terroir.

After moving to South Africa with his wife, Chana, he saw an opportunity to create something extraordinary.
