Gluck Estates Pinot Noir. Seventy-five years in the making. From the limestone-rich soils of the Buda Hills in Hungary's Etyek Region, this Pinot Noir is the fruit of an extraordinary homecoming. Aged 12 months in new Hungarian oak — a nod to the land itself — it pours a luminous ruby, carrying all the quiet elegance of a place reclaimed with love. On the nose, ripe red berries give way to delicate whispers of spice and earth, a reflection of the calcareous brown forest soils that have shaped this vineyard for generations. On the palate, it is at once structured and tender — a wine that honors both the land and the family that returned to it. Crafted by winemaker Elod Szijjarto, formerly of Bond, Harlan, and Promontory, with a spirit of resilience that runs deeper than any vintage.
Pairs beautifully with lamb, roasted beets, aged Hungarian cheeses, or a story worth telling.
